Later, Afghan openers Hazratullah Zazai and Rahmanullah Gurbaz slammed an 83-run opening stand. While Gurbaz got out for 40, Zazai went on to score unbeaten 37 runs to grab the victory for the team by 8 wickets in the end. Fazalhaq Farooqi won the player of the match award.
