Bangladesh and Afghanistan go head to head in match 3 of Asia Cup 2022 on August 30, Tuesday. They are placed in group A along with Sri Lanks. India, Pakistan and Hong Kong make up group B. All the matches will be played in Dubai and Sharjah.
Afghanistan beat Sri Lanka by 8 wickets to get their Asia Cup campaign off to a flier. They are topping group A at the moment. The Afghans bowled out Sri Lanka for just 105 and chased down the score inside 11 overs to win the game in an emphatic style. They have given a statement very early in the tournament.
Bangladesh, on the other hand, will be playing their first game of the campaign. They will be led by Shakib Al Hasan in the AsiaCup and also in the T20 World Cup. He has not been in good form off late and has been surrounded by unwanted controversy. However, the veteran player has all focus ahead on this crucial tournament. The Tigers are the finalists from the last two editions of the tournament. Both times they have lost to India, who are the defending champions.

During the super 4 round, each team will play one match against the other. The top two teams will qualify for the final which will be played in Dubai on September 11.
