Legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar will lead defending champions India legends in the second season of the Road Safety World Series (RSWS).
The RSWS series is supported by the Ministry of Road and Transport and Highways along with the Ministry of Information & Technology and Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports Government of India.

27th Sports, backed by US-based 27th Investments, are the exclusive marketing rights holder of the league while Professional Management Group (PMG) is the event management partner.
When does Road Safety World Series season 2 starts?
The tournament is scheduled between September 10 and October 1, 2022, at several venues across India. Kanpur, Raipur, Indore and Dehradun have been shortlisted to host the RSWS matches. Raipur will host the knockout fixtures of the tournament, while the opener is due to be played in Kanpur.

New Zealand legends will be the new entrant in the series to make it an eight-team event. India, Australia, England, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and West Indies participated in the last event.
“The Road Safety World Series is a very good initiative to create awareness towards road safety through cricket,” said Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways Government of India.

“We want every individual in this country to be aware and obey every rules and regulations while on the road and for that to happen, we have to create awareness among the people, I strongly believe that this series will be able to do and achieve the goal of saving lives on Indian roads,” Gadkari added.
India were the defending champions of the tournament after beating Sri Lanka legends by 14 runs in the tournament.
Tendulkar was the captain of the winning legends side and will once again throw his hat to assume the role for the new season.
Former Sri Lanka player Tillakaratne Dilshan was adjudged player of the series for scoring 271 runs and claiming 12 wickets in RSWS 1.
